An overview of past Werktage
The 7th Knauf Werktage attracted over 10,000 trade visitors to Dusseldorf, Stuttgart and Mainz in April and May. Under the motto "Building the future together", the Knauf partner companies offered guests a packed program with live demonstrations, lectures and intensive exchanges. In addition to the numerous innovations, interest was also particularly high in digital solutions.
The three dates in Dusseldorf, Stuttgart and Mainz offered many opportunities to see the practical solutions of the 10 partner companies in action and to take part in practical demonstrations themselves. "Practice, practice, practice - that's what makes the character of the Werktage. The willingness to try things out for oneself was perhaps even greater than usual this time," explains Jochen Wenzel, Director of Marketing for Knauf Group Central Europe.
For the first time visitors were also able to participate purely digitally in Werktage and interactively dial into a wide variety of offerings via a digital platform, which were very lively moderated by TV journalist Johannes Döbbelt. "The offer was very well used. But it also allows participants in the face-to-face events to follow up on their visit," says Jochen Wenzel, explaining the added value of the digital format.
Knauf Werktage took place for the sixth time in 2019. At six different locations throughout Germany, specialist tradesmen, building materials retailers and architects were able to find out about new products and the latest state of the art. In Berlin, Mainz, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf, Nuremberg and Hanover, the trade public was not only able to examine numerous innovations for the first time, but also to try them out for themselves at various practical stations.
One focus was also on the increasing digitization in construction. Various digital applications - including in the planning, interior design and materials management areas - are already making work easier today. Here, too, Werktage visitors were able to obtain comprehensive information, receive advice and test them live.
The unique recipe for success of the Knauf Werktage was again fully convincing in 2017 in its fifth edition. With more than 20,000 visitors from the trade, specialized trade and planning, a new record was achieved. The visitors gave Werktage top marks.
In six cities nationwide, the innovation show of Knauf Group came to see customers and partners from January to March. "The mix of practical experience, innovations and specialist dialog is the recipe for success of Werktage. Our visitors want to inform themselves and experience something. This time, we were once again able to optimally bring this claim to life thanks to our new exhibition concept," explains Jochen Wenzel, Head of Marketing at Knauf Group. This is also impressively confirmed by the visitor survey: 98 percent of the visitors stated that they had liked Werktage very much to much. The stage program, live demonstrations, exhibition concept and support were also rated positively.
